Prime Minister Takaichi attended the memorial service in Tokyo, offered a silent prayer and a memorial address, and presented a flower. In her address she paid tribute to six newly enshrined individuals and to the 6,292 people enshrined to date, and pledged to protect people in Japan from crime and disasters.
