The Gauteng Transport Inspectorate, with the RTMC and other law-enforcement agencies, reports October 2026 results from stop-and-search and enforcement operations: 140 minibus taxis without valid licence discs, 255 without valid driving licences, 65 minibuses discontinued as unroadworthy, 3,532 handwritten AARTO notices, 3,585 electronic notices, 132 discontinuation notices and 22 arrests.
