The Commission states that campaigning within voting station boundaries is prohibited, listing displaying party material, and attempts to persuade people to vote or not vote for a party or not vote at all. It says political activity outside boundaries is not generally banned, but political meetings, marches, demonstrations or other political events outside are prohibited, and contraventions carry a fine or up to five years' imprisonment.
