The President concurs with the Commerce Secretary's finding that robotics, industrial machinery and their components are imported in such quantities and circumstances as to threaten national security. He directs the Secretary and the US Trade Representative to pursue negotiations with trading partners, with an update within 180 days, and says further remedies such as tariffs, quotas, fees or investment incentives may be considered later.
